Jeep XHD Bumpers
The XHD Short Base comes in two designs; Integrated Winch Mount for use with almost any aftermarket winch (including the new Warn Power Plant with optional mounting blocks #11540.15) and for the 2007-10 Wrangler, a Light Mount Base with two light mounting locations. The Short Base attaches quickly with two enclosed D-Ring mounting brackets. This eight bolt frame mount design provides the toughest bumper attachment found anywhere while creating two overbuilt pull points. The 76-06 CJ/YJ/TJ XHD matches the look and utility of the 07-09 JK XHD but does not include the fog light cutouts and is only available with a winch mount. This bumper mounts close in on the frame rails, drawing the bumper closer to the body allowing for an increased approach angle. The narrow overall width gives enormous clearance for the front tires. Each JK Short Base includes two protected cut outs for your JK’s factory fog lamps. Each Short Base includes side filler plates to close off the ends for a finished look.

Special “inner mounting plate” provides an extremely secure mounting point - strong enough for offroad use! The two-piece design allows use with and without tire carrier options. Heavy-duty powder coated steel design looks great but is extremely tough. Mount on the optional Tire Carrier and you can hold up to a 35” tire.

The perfect addition to the XHD rear bumper is the matching XHD Tire Carrier Mount. The latch uses a sturdy locking mechanism for security and a tough appearance. Our engineers have gone to great lebgths to make sure this is the quietest tire carrier on the market, no more rattling! The massive hinge pivots on a heavy-duty roller bearing and supports up to a 35" tire. A multi-position locking pin mechanism keeps the arm in the open position when you need to open the tailgate, even on the steepest grade. The XHD Tire Carrier Mount attaches to the XHD Rear Bumper using the D-ring mounts for a solid foundation.

HAs opening your reat tailgate become a burden since you added a swing out tire carrier? Has it become easier to crawl over the rear seat, to grab your gear, then hassling with the tire carrier? The Rugged Ridge Tire Carrier Linkage Kit eliminates the issue and makes accessing the cargo area quick and painless. Once installed, the linkage mates the tire carrier to the tailgate, so botjh are open in a single fluid movement. The Tire Carrier Linkage is designed to work with Rugged Ridge XHD, RRC, and Rock Crawling rear bumpers and tire carriers, but will also work with most aftermarket tire carriers. No drilling is required to mount the linkage to the tailgate, but some minor drilling is required to mount the linkage to the tire carrier.
